With sitting rooms, a lovely dining room and dedicated spaces for hobbies and interests, there is always somewhere to unwind, be creative or enjoy good company. The delightful landscaped garden and patio, lovingly looked after by some of our residents, is the perfect spot to spend time with family and friends throughout the year. Some bedrooms enjoy direct access to the patio, and all rooms are bright, comfortable and fully wheelchair accessible, with residents warmly invited to bring personal belongings and treasured items to make their space feel truly their own.

Mealtimes are a real highlight of daily life at Summerville. Our hospitality team takes great pride in preparing freshly prepared, nutritious meals using locally sourced ingredients, with three meals a day alongside a mid-morning snack and afternoon tea. Menus offer plenty of variety, with special diets always catered for, and birthdays and special occasions are celebrated in style. Our Wellbeing Coordinators run a full and varied programme of activities throughout the week, shaped around what residents genuinely enjoy, from baking, writing, gardening, painting and quizzes to visits from local performers, neighbourhood groups and volunteers who bring energy, laughter and community spirit into the home.
